CONTRACTS
NAVY
Arrowhead Global Solutions, Inc., Falls Church, Va., Global Communications Solutions, Inc., Victor, N.Y., Globecomm Systems, Inc., Hauppauge, NY, SWE-DISH Satellite Systems, Reston, Va., Tampa Microwave Lab, Inc., Tampa, Fla., Telecommunication Systems, Inc., Annapolis, Md., United Electronics Corp., Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
and Limco-Airepair, Inc., Tulsa, Okla., are being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract for portable satellite communications (SATCOM) terminals.
Each contractor will be awarded a minimum guarantee per lot awarded to the offeror.
These contracts include a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, making the total potential period of performance five years.
When combined, the aggregate value of all delivery orders awarded over the life of these eight contracts will be approximately $52,600,000.
These eight contractors may compete for the delivery orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract.
Work is expected to be completed July 2007 and if all options are exercised, ordering equipment could continue until July 2011.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
The multiple award contracts were competitively procured by a small business set aside procurement via the SPAWAR business opportunity page, e-commerce central web site, and federal business opportunities site, with nine offers received.
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N65236-06-D-8142, 8143, 8144, 8145, 8146, 8147, 8148 and 8149).
AIR FORCE
Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $10,500,000 firm-fixed-price, time and material, and cost reimbursement contract.
This action provides for production and installation of stepped frequency microwave radiometer modification kits for 10, WC-130J.
At this time, $5,250,000 has been obligated.
This work will be complete August 2007.
Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8625-06-C-6456).
L-3 Communications, Telemetry-West, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $9,879,041 cost-plus-fixed fee contract.
This action provides for the next generation crypto-modernization compliant encryptor/decryptor for satellite telemetry, tracking and control which two configurations, the embeddable solution and end cryptographic unit.
At this time, $1,649,000 has been obligated.
Solicitations began March 2006.
This work will be complete April 2008.
Headquarters Cryptologic Systems Group, San Antonio, Texas, is the contracting activity (FA8307-06-C-0009).
General Dynamics C4 Systems Inc., is being awarded a $9,735,202 cost-plus-fixed fee contract.

DEFENSE ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY
National Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, is being awarded a $6,155,000 modification to a previously awarded cooperative agreement for research and development in multiple areas of ocean sciences through the National Defense Center of Excellence for Research in Ocean Sciences.
Work will be performed in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, and will be completed in December 2007.
Funds will not expire at the end of this fiscal year.
This is a sole source award.
