The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sgt.
Germaine L.
Debro, 33, of Omaha, Neb., died on Sept.
4 in Balad, Iraq, of injuries suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations.
Debro was assigned to the Army National Guard 1st Squadron, 167th Cavalry Regiment, Fremont, Neb.
