From 27 January to 1 February 2024, the NATO Secretary General, Mr Jens Stoltenberg, will travel to the United States of America.
On 29 January, the Secretary General will be in Washington DC to have bilateral meetings with senior officials including the Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, and the Secretary of Defense, Lloyd J. Austin III, as well as U.S. National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan.
On 30 January, Mr Stoltenberg will meet with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, Democratic Leader of the House, Hakeem Jeffries, Republican Leader of the Senate, Mitch McConnell, as well as other Democratic and Republican Representatives and Senators.
On 31 January, the Secretary General will deliver a speech at the Heritage Foundation. On the same day, he will also travel to Troy, Alabama, and visit the Missiles and Fire Control Facility of Lockheed Martin.
On 1 February, Mr Stoltenberg will be in Tampa, Florida, to visit the headquarters of the US Special Operations Command.
