NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg welcomed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council at the Washington Summit on 11 July 2024. He underlined NATOâs ârobust package of practical support for Ukraine, including a pledge of long-term security assistanceâ agreed on 10 July 2024. âToday, we will take further decisions together with Ukraine, making clear that NATOâs support is built to last, and affirming that Ukraineâs future is in NATO,â he added.
