ATLANTIS RETURNS TO THE LAUNCH PAD The Space Shuttle Atlantis returned to Launch Pad 39B at the Kennedy Space Center to weather Tropical Storm Ernesto in place The decision to return Atlantis to the launch pad came Tuesday as Ernesto was predicted to skirt further west than first expected, allowing a sufficient decrease in winds to permit the shuttle to ride out the storm at the pad For updated information on Atlantis and the STS-115 mission, visit the Space Shuttle Main page at: http://www nasa gov/shuttle
