NASA History Listserv Subscribers,
Sorry for the triple email today, but I'd like to remind you that our 50th Anniversary of NASA History Books promotion is still in progress at the NASA Headquarters Information Center.
Since this began in January we have supplied a lot of books to our fans – and a few of the titles have been removed from the list because our stock levels reached the lower limit. However, there are still around 50 titles that you can now get for free from the Information Center. Take a look at the list here:
http://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/hqlibrary/ic/ic2.htm Don't forget to click on the links to see the monographs and electronic media that are also available (as always) for free. (Note: if you can't pick up the books in person you will have to reimburse the Information Center for the $3/title shipping cost.)
You can also find our newest titles, and a few older ones, at a reasonable cost from the Information Center – from that same web page.
For those of you that want to load up your e-reader with some great eBooks, don't forget our NASA eBook portal. There are new titles being added all the time (don't forget to look at the history section). And…they are all free. (Why pay for the same eBooks on commercial sites when you can get them free direct from NASA?)
Irrationally happy reading from your friends at NASA History on Pi Day,
Bill
