Indianapolis Students to Connect Live with International Space Station Crew
Students and educators from Butler University in Indianapolis will at gather at Children's Museum Indianapolis for a live conversation with astronauts currently aboard the International Space Station
NASA astronauts Rick Mastracchio and Steve Swanson, and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Koichi Wakata, will talk with the students at 10:20 a m EDT Tuesday, April 29, about life and work in space The event will be broadcast live on NASA Television and the agency's website

Educators have been preparing their students for the conversation with the crew by incorporating NASA activities in their classrooms This in-flight education downlink is one in a series designed to improve science, technology, engineering and math, teaching and learning It is an integral component of NASA's Teaching From Space education program, which promotes learning opportunities and builds partnerships with the education community using the unique environment of space and NASA's human spaceflight program
