The National Air and Space Museum (NASM) is pleased to call for applications to the 2018 Fellowship Program. The Museum offers an array of in-residence opportunities, from the early-career pre- and post-doctoral
Guggenheim fellowships, to the Verville Fellowship, which is intended to support mid-level writers and scholars who are involved in the history of aviation or space studies. The Charles A. Lindbergh Chair in Aerospace History is a competitive fellowship for
a senior scholar with a distinguished publication record to support the development of a book in, or related to, aerospace history. (The Lindbergh Chair is for the 2019-20 academic year, one year later than the other fellowships.) Our goal is to support projects
that would benefit from access to NASM archives and staff, as well as to other resources in the Washington, DC area. The deadline for applications is
December 1 (note the earlier date than previous years) and selected candidates will be notified by
March 2018. See the NASM Fellowships website for more detailed information and instructions:

neufeldm@si.edu, if you have any questions.
