When the Albatrosses met at the SHOT virtual conference in October, numerous individuals expressed interest in a reoccurring works in progress seminar that would provide aerospace
history scholars with an opportunity to receive feedback on their projects. It is my pleasure to announce that the inaugural Albatrosses Aerospace History Seminar will meet at 4:00 p.m. EST on January 28, 2021!
Peter Meyer will present and welcome comments on his paper, “The Great Aviation Patent Spike of 1910.”
Peter is a Research Economist with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Office of Productivity and Technology, and is the head of the Inventing Aviation wiki project.
For security reasons, please email
seanseyer@ku.edu to preregister. The pre-circulated paper and conference Zoom link will be provided a week prior to the scheduled date.
The Albatrosses Aerospace History Seminar will meet the last Thursday of the month at 4:00 EST, with participants currently scheduled through May 2021. If you would like to present
your work at a future seminar please contact seanseyer@ku.edu for more information.
