SHUTTLE DISCOVERY'S PROCESSING MILESTONES UPDATED FOR STS-131

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla - Due to cold temperatures that are expected to continue throughout the weekend, NASA managers at Kennedy Space Center in Florida now are targeting the start of shuttle Discovery's move from its processing hangar to the Vehicle Assembly Building for no earlier than 5 p m EST on Monday, Feb 15

Discovery still is targeted to launch March 18 on its STS-131 mission to the International Space Station, but the date is being evaluated

Due to the uncertainty of the move's timing, rollover will not be a media photo opportunity Images will be available as soon as possible following the move on Kennedy's media gallery at:

Discovery's rollout from the VAB to Launch Pad 39A now is planned for early morning Feb 23 The exact time will be determined closer to the move

The Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test, TDCT, now is targeted for the first week of March The full dress launch rehearsal will be on March 5 Exact dates of other events are being evaluated and will be announced at a later date
