DoD Identifies Army Casualties
The Department of Defense announced today the death of three soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
They died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, on July 8, when an improvised explosive device detonated near their Mine Protected Vehicle (RG-31) during combat operations.
All soldiers were assigned to the 54th Engineer Battalion, 130th Engineer Brigade, Warner Barracks, Bamberg, Germany.
Killed were:
Staff Sgt.
Omar D.
Flores, 27, of Mission, Texas.
Spc.
Troy C.
Linden, 22, of Detroit Lakes, Minn.
Spc.
Joseph P.
Micks, 22, of Rapid River, Mich.
