DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Staff Sgt.
Michael A.
Dickinson II, 26, of Battle Creek, Mich., died on July 17 in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, when his dismounted patrol encountered enemy forces small arms fire.
Dickinson was assigned to the 9th Psychological Operations Battalion, 4th Psychological Operations Group, U.S.
Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, N.C.
