DoD Identifies Navy Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a sailor who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Petty Officer 2nd Class Edward A.
Koth, 30, ofTowson, Md., died July 26 at Camp Victory, Iraq, after ordnance exploded during a disposal operation.
Koth was assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Eight, serving with Multinational Corps Iraq in Baghdad.
The incident is under investigation.
