CAR PASSES FOR STS-116 LAUNCH Contact: Tawana Clary 358-1718 tawana m clary@nasa gov NASA Headquarters has a limited number (9) of car passes for employees to view the STS-116 launch, scheduled no earlier than Dec 7 at 9:38 p m , at the Kennedy Space Center, Fla The passes (for up to seven people per vehicle) will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis Employees who receive a car pass must attend a mandatory security briefing, which includes viewing a safety and security video Car passes will not be given to those who do not attend a briefing All car passes are numbered and non-transferable, and employees will sign for their pass at the end of the briefing
