AIR FORCE
Northrop Grumman Space and Mission Systems, Clearfield, Utah, is being awarded a $53,081,043 fixed-price-incentive-firm and cost-plus-award fee contract modification.
This contract action will exercise option 1 to continue upgrade of the Environmental Control System for the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile System.
This includes production, deployment, and interim contractor support for launch facilities, missile alert facilities, and missile alert facilities at the Missile Wings.
The replacement system provides filtered, temperature and humidity control, circulating air to the electronic equipment as well as the missile combat crews located in the Launch Control Centers.
At this time, $51,525,337 have been obligated.
This work will be complete October 2008.
Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42610-98-C-0001/no modification number has been assigned at this time).
NAVY
Lockheed Martin Corp., St.
Paul, Minn., is being awarded a $6,842,847 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00019-04-D-0082) for non-recurring engineering services to integrate and test the Phase II Link-16/Integrated Tactical Picture (ITP) Capability into a P-3 Anti-Surface Warfare (ASuW) Improvement Program (AIP) aircraft.
Work will be performed in Eagan, Minn., and is expected to be completed in April 2008.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
