THE NORTH ATLANTIC COUNCIL VISITS THE UNITED STATES

The North Atlantic Council (NAC), led by the Secretary General, will travel to Washington and Norfolk, VA, from 9-11 October

On Wednesday, the NAC will meet with Secretary Rice, Secretary Gates and National Security Advisor Hadley Discussions will centre on current operations, in particular Afghanistan, and on preparation for the upcoming Bucharest Summit

On Thursday, the NAC will participate in the annual Supreme Allied Command Transformation seminar in Norfolk, which will examine the future evolution of the Alliance
