NASA HOSTS MEDIA BRIEFING ON HOW ECOSYSTEMS ARE CHANGING
WASHINGTON -- NASA will hold a media briefing Tuesday, April 29, at 1:30 p m EDT to discuss the latest research documenting changes in Earth's ecosystems using NASA remote-sensing data The event will be held at The Inn & Conference Center, 3501 University Blvd East, Adelphi, Md , Room 1312
Panelists will discuss several topics, including the impact of shrinking Arctic sea ice on marine ecosystems, how invasive species alter the biochemistry of local ecosystems, the role of climate change on the length of growing seasons and ecosystems, and seasonal changes in phytoplankton and the consequences on marine ecosystems
Media are also invited to a behind-the-scenes tour of the NASA-supported Global Land Cover Facility at the University of Maryland from 3-4 p m EDT
