of potential non-nominal performance that will be investigated.)

COMPLETED OPS NOTES:
none
FGS ACQ STATUS:
SCHEDULED SUCCESSFUL
FGS GSAcq 8 8
FGS REAcq 7 7
OBAD with Maneuver 9 9
SIGNIFICANT EVENTS:
Initial STIS telemetry after the first MAMA exposure indicates that the STIS MAMA Image Header Time
Stamp issue (coarse time bits shifted-see HSTAR 13596) has cleared after the MIE FSW was reloaded
(as part of the standard recovery sequence). Steve A From: Swain, Scott Sent: Wednesday, February
20, 2013 5:55 PM To: List - Ops Flash Report Subject: SCI: *FLASH* Report -- Payload Recovery from
DOY 046 SWSP As of 051/22:52 UTC (5:52 pm EST this evening, 20 February), with the powering of the
MAMA-2 detector on STIS, the recovery of the HST Payload from the SWSP safemode entry on DOY 046
(15 February) has been completed. Now that ACS, STIS, and COS have been recovered, temperatures in
the Aft Shroud are returning to normal and the modified limits put in place after the SWSP entry
may be restored. All three instruments have all been successfully transitioned from Safe to their
respective Operate states and are in varying stages of recovering detectors and returning to
normal science operations. A timeline of the return to science activities was provided in the
SH051X00 Delivery Letter, and is reproduced below for reference. Items denoted with an "X" have
been completed: X ACS WFC ~051/05:41 (internal) X ACS WFC ~051/12:40

~051/09:05 (external) Many thanks to all those who contributed to the success of this recovery
effort. The SI SEs will also be monitoring the first STIS MAMA observations later this evening to
assess the status of the MIE after its SWSP-induced reset. If there are any questions or issues
regarding this matter, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks... Scott
