NASA History Listserv Readers:
The upcoming 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing offers an opportunity to reflect on what we know about the Apollo era, its legacies, and
what we still need to learn. Toward this end, the National Air and Space Museum’s Space History Department and NASA’s History Division are cosponsoring a workshop on December 7, 2018 in Washington, DC.
We invite colleagues who are doing or have done interesting, relevant work—scholarly or well-researched popular work--on Apollo, the Apollo era, human spaceflight,
future space, and related areas to join together in suggesting new lenses for interpretation and directions for future study. Please see
https://history.nasa.gov/Apollo50thworkshop/ for more information. Potential participants should fill out the
registration form by September 7, 2018. Please feel free to forward this information to others who may be interested.
Thanks for your interest. Best wishes,
Steve
