The Allies have taken important steps in cyber defence. Most recently, in 2018, they agreed how to integrate sovereign cyber effects, provided voluntarily by Allies, into Alliance operations and missions, as well as to stand up the initial Cyberspace Operations Centre. But is NATO doing enough to address the complex challenges of cyberspace? Laura Brent of NATO’s Emerging Security Challenges Division shares her views.
