Last week, Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center (PO.DAAC) users received an email invitation from CFI Group on behalf of NASA.
If you are a registered NASA Earthdata user, check your inbox for the 2024 American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) survey. Since 2004, NASA's Earth Observing System Data and Information System (EOSDIS) Distributed Active Archive Centers (DAACs) have conducted a survey of its data users. The results have provided valuable input to help the Earth Science Data and Information System (ESDIS) Project and DAACs assess data user needs with the objective to improve future datasets, services, tools and support.
Last week, you likely received an e-mail from the CFI Group on behalf of NASA asking to complete a survey for users of NASA Earth science data and services, which includes the PO.DAAC. The PO.DAAC is one of twelve discipline-specific data centers that are evaluated by this survey and the purpose is to help NASA and the data centers assess and better understand customer satisfaction and to improve both current and future service offerings. Input from past surveys has been used to enhance and improve the overall user experience offered by the PO.DAAC.
We kindly ask that you please participate in this year’s survey! Your feedback is invaluable and will greatly assist PO.DAAC in identifying user needs and opportunities to address problems, improve data and services, and influence priorities of the DAAC.
If you did not receive a survey and wish to complete one, or know of someone who uses PO.DAAC and/or EOSDIS data and services who did not receive a survey, please contact surveyhelp@cfigroup.com.
The survey will only be open for approximately a two-week period. Thank you, in advance, for your participation and input.
The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) is the only national cross-industry measure of customer satisfaction in the United States. NASA commissioned the CFI Group, an independent research and consulting organization, to conduct a brief survey to rate the products and services NASA currently provides from NASA's EOSDIS DAACs. Please consider responding to this survey which should take no longer than 10-15 minutes to complete; your input will help us to better serve our user community.
