April 13, 2012 ESA Envisat satellite no longer sending data. After 10 years of service, the European Space Agency (ESA) Envisat has stopped sending data to Earth. Since April 8th, ESA’s mission control has been working to re-establish contact with the satellite, but while Envisat remains in a stable orbit around Earth these efforts have not been successful.
