The PO.DAAC would like to announce the upcoming availability of PO.DAAC OceanESIP Tool, version 2 (POET 2) http://poet.jpl.nasa.gov/. The scheduled release of POET 2.0 will be on Monday, October 10, 2011. As before, POET provides on-line access and subsetting of many of PO.DAAC's data products. Plots and data subsets are generated on-the-fly and returned directly to a browser. This enables a user to interactively view sea surface fields without the need to download entire files.
