PO.DAAC is pleased to announce that we are now distributing the latest NCEP Reynolds Historical Reconstructed Sea Surface Temperature data set version 3b. This monthly analysis spans from January 1854 to the present and is computed on a 2 degree grid. It is available in ascii and netCDF formats and is based on the International Comprehensive Ocean-Atmosphere Data Set (ICOADS) release 2.4.
