Tuesday, July 6, 2021 The PO.DAAC is pleased to announce the public release of the NOAA/STAR GHRSST global 0.02-deg L3S-LEO_PM v2.80 dataset produced from Low Earth Orbiting (LEO) JPSS satellites (currently, NPP and N20) with VIIRS sensor onboard, replacing NOAA POES system with AVHRR GAC (4km/nadir). The L3S LEO_PM (L3S: Level 3 “super-collated”) aggregates two individual global L3U SST datasets (10.5067/GHVRS-3UO61 and 10.5067/GHV20-3UO61).
