Monday, October 9, 2017 The PO.DAAC is pleased to announce the release of the version 2.41 VIIRS-NPP Level-2P/3U  Sea Surface Temperature (SST) datasets produced by the NOAA Office of Satellite and Product Operations (OSPO).  This release is an upgrade from the current version 2.40, which ended on Sept. 15th, 2017.  The changes made in the upgrade include adapting spatial smoothing of the differential atmospheric correction, using “standard deviation (SD) of Baseline SST minus in situ SST” over “SD of Pi ...Continue Reading
