October 13, 2015 We are pleased to announce the new version of the PO.DAAC State Of the Ocean (SOTO), a 2D web-map version of State of the Ocean user interface now available online at http://podaac-tools.jpl.nasa.gov/soto-2d/. It provides near real-time data layers (vector and image) that are visualized in an HTML5 interface utilizing open-source tools and has all the key feature functionality of the old SOTO 3D (Google Earth) implementation.
