NATO North Atlantic Council Statement on North Korea
On July 5, the North Atlantic Council met in Brussels to express the Alliance’s grave concern over North Korea’s (DPRK’s) launch of a Taepodong-2 and other missiles.
Farah province shows NATO Afghanistan strategy

Melange disposal project launched in Azerbaijan
On 4 July 2006, NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, Jean Fournet, and the first deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Abid Sharifov,
officially inaugurated a melange conversion plant in Azerbaijan.
Jordanian Parliamentarians visit NATO HQ
On 19 June, NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division organised, in the context of the public diplomacy activities for the Mediterranean Dialogue, a visit to NATO Headquarters of Members of the Parliament of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan who met with NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer.
