Commander to Provide Afghanistan Security Transition Update

            Army Maj. Gen. Robert Durbin, commander of Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan, will brief the news media at 1:45 p.m. EDT, July 13, in the DoD Briefing Studio, Pentagon 2E579, to provide an update on ongoing training and equipping of Afghan security forces.

            Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only.  Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.  Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building.
