Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld will hold a Pentagon Town Hall meeting at 11 a.m. EDT, Friday, Sept. 22, 2006. He will be joined by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Peter Pace. James Thurman, commander 4th Infantry Division, will brief live from Iraq at 9 a.m.
EDT in the DoD Briefing Studio, Pentagon 2E579, to provide an update on ongoing security operations in Iraq.
Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only.
Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.
