Cooperation in the framework of the Mediterranean
Dialogue
Today
NATO and Israel finalised the Individual Cooperation Programme (ICP) under the
enhanced Mediterranean Dialogue.
NATO
and Israel have also finalised the modalities of Israel's contribution to the
NATO maritime Operation Active Endeavour.
At
their Istanbul Summit, NATO's Heads of State and Government decided to offer
Mediterranean Dialogue partner countries the possibility to agree with NATO
Individual Cooperation Programmes and to contribute to Operation Active
Endeavour, in the context of the More Ambitious and Expanded Framework for the
Mediterranean Dialogue approved at the Summit.
Israel's decision to contribute to Operation Active Endeavour and to
finalise the Individual Cooperation Programme with NATO, represent a significant
step forward in the cooperation with the Alliance.

Aujourd'hui, l'OTAN et
Israël
ont finalisé le Programme de Coopération Individuelle (PCI) dans le cadre du
Dialogue Méditerranéen renforcé.
L'OTAN et Israël
ont également finalisé les modalités de la contribution d'Israël ÃÂ
l'Opération maritime Active Endeavour de l'OTAN.
A
l'occasion du Sommet d'Istanbul, les Chefs d'Etat et de Gouvernement de l'OTAN
ont décidé d'offrir aux pays partenaires du Dialogue Méditerranéen la
possibilité d'établir un accord dans le cadre des Programmes de Coopération
Individuelle de l'OTAN et du Dialogue Méditerranéen renforcé approuvés lors du
Sommet.
La décision d'Israël de contribuer àl'Opération Active Endeavour et de finaliser le Programme de la Coopération Individuelle avec l'OTAN, représente un pas significatif en avant dans le coopération avec l'Alliance.
