NATO SECRETARY GENERAL TO
VISIT THE UNITED STATES
The Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, will be in
Washington on Friday, 27th October
2006.
During his visit he will meet President Bush, Secretary of State
Condoleezza Rice, and other Administration officials.
The discussions will center on the ongoing operations (especially
Afghanistan) and the NATO Summit in Riga (28/29 November
2006).
The Secretary GeneralÂ’s schedule is subject to change. For further

Le Secrétaire général de lÂ’OTAN, M. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, se rendra Ã
Washington le vendredi 27 octobre 2006.
Au cours de sa visite, il s’entretiendra avec le Président Bush, la
Secrétaire d’État, Mme Condoleezza Rice, et d’autres hauts responsables
du gouvernement.
Les échanges porteront essentiellement sur les opérations en cours (en
particulier en Afghanistan) et sur le Sommet de Riga (les 28 et 29
novembre 2006).
Le programme du Secrétaire général est sujet à modification. Pour tout
