CONTRACTS

NAVY

General Electric Transportation Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $532,898,916 Performance Based Logistics requirements contract for repair, replacement, consumables support, and program support for F414 engine components for the F/18 E/F/G aircraft. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass. (90 percent), and Jacksonville, Fla. (10 percent), and is expected to be completed by December 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not awarded competitively. The Naval Inventory Control Point is the contracting activity (N00383-07-D-001M).

Atlantic Marine Florida, LLC, Jacksonville, Fla., is being awarded a $21,709,378 firm fixed price contract for accomplishment of the Extended Selected Restricted Availability (ESRA) of the USS Philippine Sea (CG 58), to include maintenance and modernization type repair work. The ESRA will consist of the accomplishment of 40 Title K Alterations (modernization) and 4 Title D Alterations (maintenance). Work will be performed in Jacksonville, Fla., and is expected to be completed by July 2007. Contract funds in will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured, and advertised through Federal Business Opportunities, with two proposals received. The Southeast Regional Maintenance Center, Jacksonville, Fla. BAE Systems Hawaii Shipyards, Inc., Honolulu, Hawaii, is being awarded a $9,450,599 cost-plus-award-fee modification under previously awarded contract (N00024-06-C-4408) to exercise an option for the Dry-Docking Selected Restricted Availability of the USS Crommelin (FFG-37). Work will include scheduled dry-dock repairs and alterations. Work will be performed in Honolulu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by March 2007. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command's Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Honolulu, Hawaii, are the contracting activities.

BAE Systems, York, Pa., was awarded on Nov. 17, 2006, a delivery order amount of $1,013,846,571 as part of a $1,013,846,571 firm-fixed-price contract for the Remanufacture of M3A3, M2A3, and A3 BFIST Vehicles. Work will be performed in York, Pa. (60 percent), Fayette, Pa. (8 percent), Santa Clara, Calif. (28 percent), and Aiken, S.C. (4 percent), and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2009. General Dynamics, Sterling Heights, Mich., was awarded on Nov. 17, 2006, a delivery order amount of $379,829,261 as part of a $379,829,261 firm-fixed-price contract for Abrams M1A2 System Enhancement Packages Version 2 Retrofit Tanks Along with Total Packing Fielding Material for Initial Fielding. Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, was awarded on Nov. 16, 2006, a $161,779,809 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for System Production for the Improved Target Acquisition System. Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
