- Active duty retention.
The services are starting off well with the Army, Marine Corps and Air Force exceeding overall retention missions. While Navy's numbers are below monthly goals, we are predicting it will meet its reenlistment goals for this fiscal year.
- Reserve forces recruiting. Four of the six reserve components met or exceeded their recruiting goals in November.

- Reserve forces retention. For November, Army National Guard retention was 137 percent of the cumulative goal of 4,336, and Air National Guard retention was 101 percent of its cumulative goal of 1,599.
The Army and Air Guard are each currently at 99 percent of their end strength.
Losses in all reserve components for October are well within acceptable limits. Indications are that trend will continue into November.
