CONTRACTS

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, Space and Strategic Missiles, Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded $654,946,264 for Modification PZ0001 under previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee/cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00030-06-C-0100) to provide for TRIDENT II (D5) missile production and deployed system support for TRIDENT II (D5) and TRIDENT I (C4). Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Irvine, Torrance and Santa Ana, Calif. (33.42 percent); St. Mary's, Ga. (15.76 percent); Brigham City, Utah (15.76 percent); Cape Canaveral, Fla (11.89 percent); Silverdale and Nepoulsbo, Wash. (10.5 percent); Gainsville, Va. (2.34 percent); Kingsport, Tenn. (1.65 percent); and miscellaneous sites throughout the U.S. (9.3 percent). Work is expected to be completed by September 2010. Contract funds in the amount of $247,625,563 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

ARMY

McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co., Mesa, Ariz., was awarded on Dec. 18, 2006, a $469,835,948 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for the Extended Block II remanufacture program for the Apache Longbow Advanced Attack Helicopter. Work will be performed in Mesa, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 15, 2005. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-06-C-0093).

AM General L.L.C., South Bend, Ind., was awarded on Jan. 8, 2007, a $17,201,184 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for additional M1152A1 vehicles. Work will be performed in South Bend, Ind., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on July 17, 2000. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-S001).
