The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Capt.
Brian S.
Freeman, 31, of Temecula, Calif., died Jan.
20 in Karbala, Iraq, of wounds suffered when his meeting area came under attack by mortar and smalls arms fire.
Freeman was assigned to the 412th Civil Affairs Battalion, Whitehall, Ohio.
