Music star Jenny Boyle will kick off 'Military Appreciation Month' with a Pentagon Courtyard concert at noon, Friday, May 4, 2007. Boyle has entertained troops overseas as part of an Armed Forces Entertainment Office tour and also was the featured entertainer at last year's cook-out in the Pentagon South Parking lot for the Memorial Day Parade participants.

Along with several thousand Pentagon employees, expected to be in attendance will be wounded warriors from Walter Reed and Bethesda and their family members, twenty-nine America Supports You organizations from across the country, as well as senior department leaders.

America Supports You is a nationwide program launched by the Department of Defense to recognize citizens' support for our military men and women and communicate that support to members of our armed forces at home and abroad. This will be the third ASY Military Appreciation Month concert kick-off.

This concert will be broadcast live on the Pentagon Channel and will be available via satellite to U.S. bases and installations worldwide. It will also be Web cast over the Pentagon Channel Web site.
