Defense Official to Discuss DoD Computer Networks and Recreational Web Site Access
Defense Information Systems Agency Vice Director Rear Admiral Elizabeth Hight will conduct a roundtable at 2:30 p.m.
EDT, May 17, in the DoD briefing room, Pentagon 2E579, on the Department's efforts to ensure DoD computer networks are available for operations and the recent decision to block access to certain recreational web sites from DoD computers.
The admiral will accept requests for individual, on-camera interviews at the conclusion of the roundtable.
Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking entrance only.
Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.
