Update on Department's MRAP Program

The chairman of the MRAP Task Force John Young, along with Army Lt. Gen. Stephen Speakes, deputy chief of staff Army G8 (force development) and Brig. Gen. Michael Brogan, commander, Marine Corps Systems Command will hold a news conference on the procurement of mine resistent, ambush protected vehicle at 11 a.m. EDT, July 18, in the DoD Briefing Studio, Pentagon 2E579.

Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only. Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building.
