NATO PA PRESIDENT VISITS
THE  FORMER YUGOSLAV REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA*
José Lello, President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA), together with Simon Lunn, Secretary General, is making an official visit to the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia* from 26 to 27 November.
 

The purpose of the visit is to discuss the progress of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia* in meeting its aspirations of NATO membership and current regional developments.

 
Mr. Lello will undertake meetings in Skopje with President Crvenkovski, Prime Minister Gruevski, the President of the National Assembly, Mr. Georgievski and both the Foreign and Defence Ministers.  He will also meet the Chairpersons of the Foreign Policy and Defence and Security Committees in the National Assembly.
 
On Monday 26th November, Mr. Lello will address the National Assembly.
 
This will be followed by a statement for the Press by both Mr. Lello and Mr. Georgievski, President of the National Assembly from 13:25 - 13:40 in Hall 3 of the National Assembly.
                       
 
 
*Turkey recognizes the Republic of Macedonia with its constitutional name
