NATO Secretary General to visit the United Arab Emirates

 

The NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer will visit Abu Dhabi on 23-24 January.

 

He will meet with the UAE Prime Minister, Vice-President and Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi H.H. Gen. Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan and with the Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces Lt.Gen. Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi.

During the visit the Secretary General will also deliver a public diplomacy lecture at the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research in Abu Dhabi, on 24 November at 10 o'clock.
