STATEMENT ON THE POLISH PLANE
CRASH
The Secretary General
of NATO, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, said today:
“I have learned with great sadness
about the tragic accident of the Polish military plane, in which so many people
lost their lives. On behalf of all the Allies, I convey my heartfelt condolences
to the Polish authorities, and in particular to the families of the military
personnel who lost their loved ones.”
