NATO DEPUTY SECRETARY GENERAL TO OPEN  THE NATO MULTIMEDIA EXHIBITION IN BUCHAREST

The NATO Deputy Secretary General,  Ambassador Claudio Bisognero,  will travel to Bucharest on Monday, 17 March 2008. Together with the Romanian Minister of Defence, Mr Teodor Melescanu,  the Deputy Secretary General will inaugurate the NATO Multimedia Exhibition “Securing our Future” in the National History Museum in Bucharest. 

The exhibtion highlights NATOÂ’s role in responding to existing and emerging security challenges in  a combination of interactive, video, photographic and print media about the AllianceÂ’s current operations, capabilities and partnerships. The NATO Multimedia Exhibition  will be open to the public for two weeks in the National History Museum in Bucharest and will thereafter be displayed at the NATO Summit venue.

INAUGURATION PAR LE SECRÉTAIRE GÉNÉRAL DÉLÉGUÉ DE L'OTAN
DE L'EXPOSITION MULTIMÉDIA DE L'OTAN À BUCAREST

Le secrétaire général délégué de l'OTAN, M. l'ambassadeur Claudio Bisognero, se rendra à Bucarest le lundi 17 mars 2008. Avec le ministre roumain de la Défense, M. Teodor Melescanu, il inaugurera l'exposition multimédia de l'OTAN intitulée « Garantir lÂ’avenir de notre sécurité » au Musée national d'histoire à Bucarest. 

L'exposition met en évidence le rôle de l'OTAN dans la réponse apportée aux défis de sécurité actuels et nouveaux, grâce à un ensemble de supports interactifs, de séquences vidéo, de photographies et de publications traitant des opérations en cours, des capacités et des partenariats de l'Alliance. L'exposition multimédia de l'OTAN sera ouverte au public durant deux semaines au Musée national d'histoire à Bucarest, et elle sera ensuite présentée sur le site du sommet de l'OTAN.
