1 April 2008 - NATO PA PRESIDENT JOSÉ LELLO TO
ADDRESS NATO SUMMIT IN BUCHAREST
José Lello, President of the NATO
Parliamentary Assembly, will address heads of state and government participating
in the NATO Summit in Bucharest from 2 to 4 April 2008. His address will take
place on the morning of 3 April.
Later that day, Mr. Lello will also
participate in the meeting on Afghanistan. This will bring together
representatives of all the ISAF troop-contributing countries as well as other
key international leaders, including Afghan President Hamid Karzai, United
Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, and senior officials from other major
international bodies such as the European Union and the World
Bank.
