Statement by the North Atlantic Council

on the terror attack in front of the Danish Embassy in Islamabad

The North Atlantic Council met today and strongly condemned Monday’s bomb attack in front of the Danish Embassy in Islamabad.  The Council also expressed its condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, and their sympathies to those who were injured.  These attacks demonstrate once again that terrorism is a global threat, and does not distinguish between its victims.  The Alliance stands united in opposition to this menace.
