New center of excellence opens in Germany

The Confined and Shallow Waters Centre of Excellence has been officially established with the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding at the Supreme Allied Commander Transformation Headquarters on 3 October. The centre located in Kiel, Germany, works on concepts for the planning and conduct of joint operations in confined and shallow waters.
