NATO SECRETARY GENERAL TO VISIT THE UNITED STATES

The Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, will visit Washington on Friday 24 October 2008.

During his visit, the Secretary General will meet with President George Bush and other Senior Administration Officials.  On this occasion, he will also attend the US signing ceremony of the Albanian and Croatian accession protocols to the North Atlantic Treaty.
