NATO Secretary General visits Afghanistan

The NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, is currently visiting Afghanistan.  The Secretary General will meet with President Karzai and other Afghan authorities, as well as receiving updates from the NATO Senior Civilian Representative and senior ISAF Commanders in Kabul and across the country. 

The Secretary General will also visit selected Provincial Reconstruction Teams and meet with troops on the ground.
