NATO Secretary General to visit ISRAEL

The Secretary General of NATO, H.E. Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer will visit Israel on 11-12 January 2009, in the framework of the Mediterranean Dialogue.

He will meet with the Israeli Prime Minister, H.E. Mr. Ehud Olmert, the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mrs. Tzipi Livni and with the Minister of Defence, H.E. Mr. Ehud Barak.

During the visit, the Secretary General will also deliver a speech at the Institute for National Security Studies, on 11 January 2009 at 19.00, during an event organised jointly by the Institute for National Security Studies and the Atlantic Forum of Israel.

VISITE DU SECRÉTAIRE GÉNÉRAL DE L’OTAN EN IsraËl

Le Secrétaire Général de lÂ’OTAN, S.E.M. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, se rendra en visite en  Israël les 11 et 12 janvier 2009, dans le cadre du Dialogue Méditerranéen.

Il rencontrera le Premier Ministre israélien, S.E.M. Ehud Olmert, la Vice Premier Ministre et Ministre des Affaires Etrangères, S.E.M. Tzipi Livni et le Ministre de la Défense, S.E.M. Ehud Barak.

Au cours de sa visite, le Secrétaire Général prononcera également un discours à lÂ’Institut pour les Etudes de Sécurité Nationale le 11 janvier 2009 à 19 heures, lors dÂ’un évènement co-organisé par lÂ’Institut pour les Etudes de Sécurité Nationale et le Forum Atlantique d'Israël.
