I thought I should let you know that the much anticipated, ooTunes iPhone App is finally available!

You can get it here.

There's a snazzy tutorial (not quite as good as the real thing).

You'll definitely need to upgrade to the latest version of the ooTunes Server since the login mechanism and many other features have changed to allow the app to connect.

For those of you that are thinking "What a rip off! This should have been free with the server!" I hear you loud and clear. It was my intention to give this free to all current subscribers, but when I checked about how to give away promo copies, I found 2 big problems:

1. I only have 50, and
2. they only work in the US iTunes store.

So, since this is a scarce commodity, I make the following offer:

If you want a promotional code to get the app free (it's $4 in the US store) please send me a short explanation of why I should give you one. Since I planned to give you all one, you might not have to try too hard, but some suggestions are:

• I'll blog about it and tell everyone on every forum in the Universe!!
• I'll name my nextborn "ooTunes Oogli ____"
• I'll give it a 5 star rating, even if it eats my cat!
• You promised me this!
• I helped you find/fix a bug!
• I'll shout it from the rooftops that ooTunes is the best app in the world (it is, mind you).
• ???? (just be creative... if the picking is really tough, there will be updates, and I think I get more promos with each version, not that you'd want to wait for that :).

Please let me know what I can do to make this better! Suggestions, solutions, bitter complaints, are all welcome! Thanks for your support! Hope you love it as much as I do!
